Establishment Purpose

Yuntech officially established the "Student Counseling Center" on July 1, 1991. The main purpose is to maintain and improve students' mental health and help students understand themselves, solve psychological distress caused by problems in life, studies, and career development, and develop personal potential and pursue self-realization. On August 1, 2002, the name was changed to "Counseling Center", and the service target was expanded to all faculty, staff, and students of the school, providing them with required services to build a mentally healthy and friendly campus.

Organizational Structure

The Counseling Center has one Director that oversees the Center’s operations. Additionally, depending on operational needs, three organizational aspects are divided: Counseling business personnel include full-time psychologists and social workers, part-time psychologists, and part-time psychiatrists, commissioners, and administrative team members; resource classroom business personnel are mainly full-time resource classroom tutors; Central District College Counseling Work Coordination and Consulting Center is mainly full-time assistants.
